OLD TEMPLE BAR

OLD TEMPLE BAR

In 1878 this structure (rebuilt by Wren in 1672), which divided the Strand from Fleet Street, and also Westminster from the City, was removed to make room for increasing traffic. It was re-erected and stands in Theobalds Park, near Cheshunt.
