SOUTH GATE OF KING'S LYNN

The only town gate left in that wonderful old place. King's Lynn, is this South Gate, built about 1440. A kind of boulevard called Guanock Terrace leads to it, marking the site of the walls. The Roundheads besieged, and at last captured King's Lynn in 1643.
