MARKET HALL, CHIPPING CAMPDEN

The ancient Woolstaplers' Hall stands on an island in the broad main street of Chipping Campden, in Gloucestershire. It was built by a famous wool merchant, Sir Baptist Hicks (1551-1629), who became the first Viscount Campden.
