Wymondham's Market House, a fine relict of the Sixteenth century

Wymondham's Market House, a fine relict of the Sixteenth century

Quaintness and the infinite charm of old world buildings are to be found in the market house at Wymondham, a modest little town just north of Attleborough, in Norfolk. The market house is octagonal in shape, and its conical roof and outside timber stairway are noticeable features in the photograph. Wymondham also boasts a fine market cross and a double-towered church of unusual form, part of which once belonged to an ancient Benedictine priory, adjacent to it, which has now vanished
