Landslide Havoc at Pakenham, Suffolk: Porlock and the Bristol Channel

The delightful Devonshire village of Porlock, beneath Dunkery Beacon and the heights of Exmoor, has suffered the reverse process of being left high and dry, for at one time it was a flourishing little port on the Bristol Channel, now at least one mile across pleasant lush meadows.
