GUILDHALL AT MUCH WENLOCK, SHROPSHIRE

The timbered guildhall of Much Wenlock served more than one useful purpose of civic government. Two of its' supporting pillars were used as whipping posts. The old wrist-fetters still remain on the third from the right.
