CHAPEL AND MONUMENT IN S. PAUL'S IN MEMORY OF BRITAIN'S GREAT MILITARY LEADER

Dedicated to the memory of Earl Kitchener, All Souls' Chapel is situated in the north-west corner of the nave of S Paul's Therein lies enshrined in gleaming marble, the effigy of the dead leader, who was snatched from the service of his country by the catastrophe at once devastating and mysterious, of the Hampshire's loss at sea in 1916. The sculpture is the work of Mr. W. Reid Dick, A R A and the chapel was designed by Sir John Burnet and Partners, the architects of the splendid War Memorial at Glasgow.
