THE ROYAL EXCHANGE MEMORIAL TO ALL LONDON TROOPS

THE ROYAL EXCHANGE MEMORIAL TO ALL LONDON TROOPS

This memorial, by the foot of the Royal Exchange steps, was designed by the late Sir Aston Webb, and the sculpture is by Mr. Alfred Drury, R.A. Its dedication to all London troops who served in the Great War marks it as one of the outstanding metropolitan memorials. The columned portico of the Royal Exchange is an impressive background.
