COMMEMORATING THE HEROES OF LINCOLN'S INN

COMMEMORATING THE HEROES OF LINCOLN'S INN

This simple monument, the seats of which provide a welcome resting place for those pedestrians who seek the quietude of the ancient Inn, is dedicated to the memory of members of the Inn who lost their lives on active service. The names are inscribed on the central bronze panel and on those at the flanks of the stone enclosure. All the other inscriptions are, fittingly, in Latin, the language of the Roman Law that is the basis of our own. The monument was unveiled in 1921.
