STOCKWELL'S CLOCK TOWER, AND "THE QUEEN'S" MEMORIAL IN KENNINGTON PARK

STOCKWELL'S CLOCK TOWER, AND

The Clock Tower monument (left) to the Stockwell men who served in the Great War, as its inscription runs, was the design of Mr. F. T. Dear, A.R.I.B.A., and stands in a good position near the Swan hotel. A striking regimental memorial is that to the fallen of the 24th Battalion London Regiment, better known as " The Queen's" (right). This stands in Kennington Park, and is inscribed on the back and both sides with the names of the battles the Battalion was engaged in.
