OLD YORKSHIRE TITHE BARN STILL WITH A PROSPECT OF LONG LIFE

OLD YORKSHIRE TITHE BARN STILL WITH A PROSPECT OF LONG LIFE

Built about the year 1500 the tithe barn at Easington has hopes of many more years of life, since a proposal has been made for preserving this ancient and most excellent relic of the past by acquiring it for the purposes of an exhibition. Agricultural implements of other day would form a prominent feature in this collection as well as objects associated with old folklore. The walls are of brick, and the interior construct on shows why these barns have for so long withstood the passing of years.
