ABBOT'S KITCHEN, GLASTONBURY

ABBOT'S KITCHEN, GLASTONBURY

Outside the enclosure of the Abbey is the old Abbot's Kitchen, built about 1435-40. It is entered from Magdalen Street. The roof and octagonal lantern are all of stone work, and the whole is set off by a background of green trees.
