NORTH AISLE OF ROMSEY

NORTH AISLE OF ROMSEY

The nunnery church of Romsey, Hants, which is larger than at least two of the English cathedrals, is an exquisite piece of ecclesiastical building. The present structure was begun by Stephen de Blois about the year 1120.
