OLD CROSBY HALL, BISHOPSGATE

Till 1910, when it was taken down and re-erected at Chelsea, Crosby Hall stood in Bishopsgate, London. It was built by Alderman Sir John Crosby about 1466, and later became the residence of Sir Thomas More, the statesman and author of "Utopia."
